Our apartments have been design and built with focus on being free of barriers. No steps, no tight corners, no barriers.
This can be seen in many big and small details. The building, the garden, the pergola, the sun terrace and the wellness area are accessible with wheelchairs. The apartements can be accessed via a ramp through our garden or using our stair lift.
As an alternative to the natural ramp (maximum gradient 5%), wheelchair users can easily reach the Planai and Kaibling apartments with our stairlift.
A special pool lift is installed in order to get into our pool without too much trouble. For maximum safety, this lift only works with water pressure and can be operated alone.
The way to the apartments via the natural ramp is equipped with sturdy stainless steel handrails to make your ascent as easy as possible. Handrails are also installed in the swimming pool and at the ramp to the wellness area.
Many activities in the region take special needs into account. Outdoor pools, museums, cinemas and also the mountain railways on Dachstein, Planai and Reiteralm are wheelchair accessible and can be used free of charge or at a reduced rate with the summer card. In addition, the Freizeit PSO association offers experiences in summer and winter, tailored specifically to holidaymakers with special needs. Among other things, rafting, a day in the high ropes course, activities with therapy dogs and horses as well as barrier-free skiing.
